NYP: Appeal for Witnesses after Man Found Unconscious

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a man was found unconscious in Scarborough.

It happened on Vernon Road at 3.30pm on Monday 28 August 2017 and involved a man, aged 22 years-old, who was found by police lying in the road unconscious with a number of injuries.

An ambulance was called due to the nature of his injuries and he was taken to hospital where his injuries were treated and he was discharged following treatment.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from the public that might have seen the man on Vernon Road.

He was wearing a white short sleeved t-shirt and beige coloured chinos at the time.
