NYP: Appeal re Scarborough Assault
Did you witness an assault in Scarborough?

Were you in the Shakespeare Public House in Scarborough at around 9pm on Friday, 24 March? If so, did you witness an altercation which left a man in his 50s requiring hospital treatment? The officers would like to speak with you.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident which involved a number of people and resulted in a 59-year-old man receiving 16 stitches to facial injuries.
In particular officers are keen to identify three men who were all wearing blue jumpers and dark trousers, this could possibly be work attire. One of the men is also described as a white man, around 6ft 5in tall with mousey blonde hair and clean shaven.
Anyone who can assist with the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, selecting option2 and asking for John Dixon. Information can also be provided by emailing john.dixon@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
