NYP: CCTV Appeal after Whitby shop Theft

Police want to trace two men after outdoors clothing was stolen from a shop in Whitby.

Two men entered Hall and Coates on Church Street and one of them asked to try on a pair of boots.

While the shop assistant was in the store room, a second man took a number of “Sealskinz” items, including gloves, hats and socks, valued at £200 to £300 and left without paying.

The other man left the shop shortly afterwards.

It happened at around 12.10pm on Saturday (16 September).

Police would like to speak to two men pictured by CCTV in connection with their investigations.
