NYP: Appeal for Witnesses – Serious Collision – Hunmanby

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information regarding a serious collision between a green Ford Focus C-Max and a black Vauxhall Astra which took place at 6.40am Wednesday 7 September 2016 on Bridlington Road just outside Hunmanby.

Both drivers suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. The driver of the Astra, a 41-year-old local man, was taken to Scarborough District Hospital with abdominal injuries. 

The driver of the Ford Focus, a 32-year-old local man, had to be extracted from the car by fire services. He was treated at the scene for injuries to his arm and knee and later transferred to Scarborough District Hospital.
