North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a commercial burglary that occurred in Eastfield, Scarborough.
Keepmoat builders who are currently developing the Capella site in Eastfield have been the victim of a commercial burglary.
Sometime between 5:00pm on Friday 23 September 2017 and 7am on Monday 25 September 2017, offenders have targeted part of the site.
They have have broken into the premises and stolen items that total somewhere in the region of £7000 upwards.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or who have any information which could assist the investigation to contact them.
Police are particularly interested in the area around Dale Edge, as some items stolen from the location were found to have have been discarded in this area. Again any witnesses that may have seen or heard a vehicle or persons acting suspiciously are urged to come forward.
