Appeal re Scarborough Attempted Burglary

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted burglary that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened on Royal Albert Drive between the hours of 9:00pm on Thursday 17th January 2019 and 7:00am on Friday 18th January 2019 and involved offenders attempting to break into a café by forcing entry.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are keen to hear from any person who witnessed anything or anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
