Appeal following Robbery in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a robbery that occurred in Scarborough

It happened near the alleyway on Tennyson Avenue, behind the Tennyson Pub between 2pm and 2.30pm on 26 October 2017 and involved one man who approached a group of young boys, pushed one of them off their cycle and stole it.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone around that area at the relevant time.
The bike stolen is described as a red ‘X-rated’ bike with distinctive ‘descent’ and ‘non chartel’ stickers on the frame

Appeal following Damage to 2 Vehicles in Osgodby, Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a criminal damage involving two vehicles that occurred in Osgodby, Scarborough

It happened on Osgodby Bridge at around 9pm on Saturday 28 October 2017 when two men and two women were involved in an altercation on the bridge.

During the incident a Peugeot 306 a Vauxhall Vectra were present.

There were a number of vehicles passing the location at the time of the incident and officers are appealing to anyone who was passing and witnessed the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information about anyone seen kicking a vehicle, potentially causing damage.

Appeal after Cars Damaged in Scarborough

Police in Scarborough are appealing for witnesses and information after a number of cars were damaged in Scarborough overnight between 28 and 29 October 2017.

It happened on Cromwell Road/Terrace between 4.30pm on 28/10/2017 and 11.15am on 29/10/2017 when various cars including a blue Kia, a silver Vauxhall Vectra a grey Peugeot and a dark blue van have had their paintwork scratched.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance with anything suspicious you may have seen that evening or any CCTV you may have access to.

In particular, we are appealing for information about when exactly this damage was caused and information relating to the person responsible.
