NYP: Appeal re Eastfield Highways Depot Burglary
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred at the highways depot at Eastfield, Scarborough.
The incident took place on Sunday 4 March at approximately 2pm in the vicinity of Hopper Hill Road and Taylor Way, where a number of individuals have been seen to enter the highways depot at the location.
The offenders have made several trips from the depot back to the junction of Taylor Way and Seamer Carr Road.
They made off with around 150 litres of fuel from three vehicles parked at the depot, jerry cans and some tools.
We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information about any people or vehicles that were seen at the location at the time of the incident.
