NYP: Appeal – Info re Whitby (Raw) Dog Theft
Appeal for information following theft of dog from a rescue centre in Whitby
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information following the theft of a black and white German Shephard/Collie cross dog.
The dog, which is named Cleo, was taken from Raw Animal Rescue, Whitby, between 6.30pm on Tuesday, 28 March and 8am on Wednesday, 29 March.
Enquiries are being conducted by officers who are also requesting the public’s assistance to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify those responsible for the theft.
Cleo has behavioural issues and may pose a risk to other animals and humans.
Anyone who has information which could assist the investigation or who knows the whereabouts of Cleo is urged to contact officers by calling 101, selecting option 2, and asking for PC Neil Graham. PC Graham can also be contacted via email – neil.graham@northyorkshire.pnnpolice.uk.
