Appeal re MISSING Alison Danks (a.k.a. Bishop)

Cleveland Police have appealed for the public’s assistance in the quest to locate Alison Danks, 39, who left her Marske home on Friday evening and has not been seen since.

Sightings have been reported of a woman answering Alison’s description cycling towards the Danby/Commondale area of the North Yorkshire Moors.

Alison is described as being white, 5ft 6ins tall, of fair complexion with green eyes and blonde hair, usually secured in a ponytail. She is also known as Alison Bishop.

When last seen, she was wearing blue jeans and a bright mustard-coloured jacket, though she may since have changed her clothing.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police said:

“We’re still very concerned for the welfare of missing 39-year-old Alison Danks, who has not returned to her home in Marske.

“Extensive efforts to locate her have continued and we received a possible sighting of Alison on a bicycle heading towards the Danby/Commondale areas on the North Yorkshire Moors.”
