The North Yorkshire rumour mill is grinding hard this morning over the mysterious circumstances which have led to the extraordinary suspension of Northallerton Town (Parish) Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer Sue FRAZER.

Regrettably, despite the welter of incoming hearsay, it would not be appropriate to comment at this stage – save to point out that the elections for Northallerton Town (Parish) Council will take place on 7th May 2015.

Clearly, a faction within the deeply divided Council will have been acutely aware of the timing of their actions.
