NYP: Appeal For Witnesses After S’borough Woman Injured

Police investigating how a woman sustained cuts in a Scarborough street are appealing for two dog-walkers to come forward who could be witnesses to the incident.

Police were called by the ambulance service at around 8pm on the night of Thursday 1 September 2016 after the 25-year-old woman was found with cuts to her arm and chest.

Detectives are appealing to two dog walkers with a black dog who crossed North Marine Road towards Clarence Road at around 7.50pm, to contact them.

It is believed that although the woman was found on North Marine Road, the original incident took place in Clarence Road and officers are appealing for anyone else who was in the area the time to contact them.
