NYP: Appeal Following Eastfield Robbery

Police are appealing for information regarding a robbery which took place on Wednesday 1 February 2017.

Between 7.15pm and 7.35pm, a 16-year-old boy was riding his moped along Manham Hill in Eastfield, Scarborough in the direction of Cayton Low Road. He pulled into a car park near the Musham Bank roundabout on the right hand side of the road, near to some flats.

The 16-year-old was then pulled from his moped and assaulted by an unknown man who was wearing dark clothing. The man continued to assault the boy and then went on to steal the outer and inner layer of the boys jacket.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, who may of witnessed anything suspicious or who has any information which would assist the investigation to contact them.
