N&S Parish Poll Update

PRESS RELEASE

“In 2020, the Council carried out a survey to get the views of parishioners as to the need for a community wellbeing hub. The local community was overwhelmingly in support of the Council’s proposals to develop a Community Wellbeing Hub with 82% in favour of the proposals.

In November 2023, the Council failed to follow policies and procedures regarding an allegation of bullying which has denied residents valued wellbeing services.

The poll will be held between 4pm and 9pm on Friday 9th August 2024, voting stations will be at Gatesgarth, St Marks Church, Coldyhill Lane and the Newby and Scalby Community Hall, Scalby Road.  You will not receive a voting slip or need any identification, just turn up and vote.”
