Appeal re 8-month-old Kitten shot in Acomb

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses to a brutal air weapon attack on an eight month-old kitten in Acomb, York.

On Monday 18 March an eight month-old kitten was shot by an air weapon on Almsford Road in Acomb, York.

The ginger kitten, ‘Biscuit’, was taken to a local vets and was found to have a pellet embedded in his spine which meant that the vet had to put him to sleep.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
