This is CodHead’s reaction to the news that Whitby Mayor Councillor Terry Jennison is agitating to divert a sizeable chunk of the Parish Precept towards kitting himself out with a fancy set of mayoral robes, so as not to be outdone by Scarborough Mayor Councillor Bill Chatt – and to shake off that dated ‘Blues Brothers’ Elroy look.
