NYP: Witness Appeal Following Assault on Scarborough Man (52)

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault which took place outside Scarborough Train Station on Sunday 9 April 2017.

The incident happened shortly before 8pm, when the 52 year old victim was walking past the train station and was approached by two men and one woman.

One of the men approached the victim form behind and punched him in the side of the face, causing a black eye. The man is described as a white man, aged 20-25, 5ft 6” tall, of slim build with short black hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie and black trousers.

The other man is described as a white man in his late 40s/early 50s, 5ft 8” tall and of big build.

The woman is described as white, aged 20-25, 5ft 7’’ tall, of a big build with long blonde hair.  She was wearing a blue top and black trousers.

Following the incident, the group made off in the direction of Valley Bridge Parade.
