On Tuesday 19th January 2021, SBC CEO and Head of Paid Service received a series of five separate emails calling upon the Council to convene an Extraordinary Meeting to consider the following Item of business:

I wish to move a Vote of No Confidence in the Leader of Scarborough Borough Council, Councillor Steve Siddons.

And I would hope and expect that 4 fellow members will support this Motion.

When that support is forthcoming, I will look forward to a specially convened meeting of Full Council to be scheduled as soon as possible.

Many thanks

Councillor William Chatt

Evening all,

Thank you for your emails. I will make sure  Democratic services enact the usual process in line with the constitution in the morning.

Bill as the proposer we will give you a call tomorrow.

Best

Mike
