‘Vision for Whitby’ – Survey Results

Regular readers may recall an article in the North Yorks Enquirer published on 18th May 2023, promoting the Whitby Community Network’s “Vision for Whitby” consultation, in which approaching 4.6% of the population took part. This compares to a penetration of between only 0.2% and 0.4% in the recent North Yorkshire Council “Let’s Talk” consultations. How encouraging to see the people of Whitby starting to exercise their voice. Alas, Whitby Town Council does not seem to offer any consultations on any subject at all.
