Private Eye says “Hats off to Real Whitby!” 

Once again, Private Eye – the most prestigious exposé publication in the country – has expressed full support to the citizen-journalists of Real Whitby, in recognition of our persistent investigations into the activities of the Scarborough paedophile-ring headed up by Jimmy SAVILE and former Scarborough Councillor, Mayor and Alderman Peter JACONELLI – now (like SAVILE) stripped of all civic honours.

Real Whitby will continue to expose other members of the ring – along with the ‘authority’ figures who, down the years, have knowingly side-tracked victims complaints and protected the guilty – the paedophiles and the cover-up artists – from prosecution and public disgrace.

This marks Real Whitby’s thirteenth appearance in Private Eye – unlucky for some!
